Fundus Photo Registration and Patient Data Management Platform

Our Mission

To develop an innovative and clinically applicable artificial intelligence–powered retinal imaging platform for the early, non-invasive detection of cardiovascular and chronic kidney diseases through advanced deep learning analysis of retinal fundus photographs. The project aims to integrate multimodal clinical and imaging data into a secure and scalable diagnostic ecosystem that enhances early screening, improves clinical decision-making, reduces dependence on costly and invasive procedures, and advances precision medicine through explainable and accessible AI technologies. By bridging ophthalmology, cardiology, nephrology, and artificial intelligence, this initiative seeks to establish a transformative framework for preventive healthcare, translational medical research, and equitable access to intelligent diagnostic tools.

Khayyam AI Lab

This platform is being developed by the Khayyam AI Innovation Lab in collaboration with the Kidney Research Center of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. The Khayyam AI Innovation Lab is a pioneering interdisciplinary research and innovation center dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence applications in healthcare and medicine. The laboratory specializes in the development of machine learning- and deep learning-based solutions for complex medical challenges, with expertise spanning medical data collection and harmonization, healthcare data analytics, medical image analysis, predictive modeling, and intelligent Computer-Aided Diagnosis (CADx) systems. By integrating clinical expertise with cutting-edge AI technologies, the lab aims to accelerate translational research, enhance diagnostic precision, and develop scalable digital health solutions capable of improving patient care and supporting next-generation intelligent healthcare systems.
